EDC fags jizz their pants over these fucking things, regardless of the multi-tool. I've used them just to try them out, but have never needed to use one in the woods. Maybe if you go on month long camping trails like you're hiking the Appalachian trail or the rocky mountains I could see possibly having a need. Though there are so many EDC youtube reviews by thick fingered mouthbreathers crying about awls. One was going to jizz his pants while talking about the Evolution from Victorinox, and chose it over the Leatherman Charge tti and Wave plus as a superior mult-tool. Not just because of the awl but because of the cork screw, because we all know how often we take mass quantities of wine with us camping. An awl has it's use but god damn if EDC hasn't made it the most overrated bullshit. Also the evolution sak's are like 2oz. Just throw the meme fucker in a pack or pocket. Weighs about the same as the melted snickers bar they've probably got melting in their back pocket.
