>>1996455Great point. I hadn't considered them leaving. A sat phone is definitely something I would like to have, but I don't have the money right now. I know the epi pens are not optimal but I don't have access to fresh ones. I mainly keep it around for my mom's sake. I also read a bit of a horror story jungle rescue of someone who didn't know they were allergic to wasps until day 4 of portaging, so I figure it's worth the space. I've thought about getting into the medical field, but seeing my mom's PTSD after working Trauma and Psych for years put me off of it. I think doing part time volunteering in the woods would be a great way to help without getting too fucked up. Thanks for the idea.
