The row spacing makes it difficult to get in there. They are producing useful sized carrots now. The imperator style are long and some have been getting long enough to go all the way through the top soil and into the clay beneath. Once they do that they are a bastard to pull, I have to dig around them enough to get a whole hand grip on them.
