If cash is tight, get the mora(you wont find a better value for a fixed blade) and you should be set for your /out/ needs, provided you're not going on some epic quest.
Since cash is tight though, should you decide to get a multitool, keep an eye on ebay or craigslist for the leatherman Blast. Imo, its the best value. It was replaced by the Rebar, so it should be a bit cheaper, and imo, its got better tools. I own both, and in every way *except* the plier cutters, i think the blast is better. More comfortable, better blade, better saw, scissors... Only downside is no awl, but you can grind the big flat-head into one if you want(Or into a chisel, or leave as is and use it as a prybar)
