First time posting on /out/. I've really been looking to get into camping this upcoming Winter. I've already got a pretty decent plan for a gear list but I feel like I'm missing alot. I was thinking of getting
-small 2 man tent (cause gf "says" she wants to come too)
-sleeping bag
-small axe/hatchet
-old military pack
-mil canteen with metal cup thing (don't remember name)
-iso mat
-lighter
-double barrel shotgun (not even sure if I need it, but I'll feel safer)
-shitty 3" pocket knife
I live in Georgia btw and while I've got a few good ideas about where to try camping, if anyone wants to share some tips about camping in the south or knows some good places in Ga I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
