Okay yeah the Yamaha will need more maintenance than a Honda CRF450F to the 450cc hater, you're just a scrawny manlet. 250ccs USED to be lighter. Not the case anymore.
My whole deal was that OP mentioned "$15,000 Specialized" while idk what their bikes top out at, I do know a $3000 bicycle is not worth it.
A $1000 hardtail, sure, but full suspension isn't even 10% more thrilling
