>>2410607I made good money (considering that i never went to university) at work the last 4 years. I was able to pay back debt from my broken marriage and a few other mistakes. Eventually i had more than i needed and so i invested monthly.
I put some into Bitcoin, world ETF and cash. About 20%/60%/20% and rebalanced every month. If there was a stock crash, i sold from Bitcoin and took from cash and bought stock. If stock went up, i sold some and bought Bitcoin and cash to get my allocation percentages back.
Last year, maybe November, i sold Bitcoin because some article spooked me, i put it all into ETF. That basically saved my bacon since BTC looks bad right now. Sheer luck.
My tip: Pay off all debt, this is priority. First thing every month you buy some ETF and put away some cash, then pay your bills, the rest is food and play money until the next paycheck. Make a rough budget in a spreadsheet.
