The area surrounding my camp used to belong to my Great Great Great Grandfather's Logging Tycoon, as a result its basically a few thousand Acres of private land that has just stayed in the family. So as a kid, the verdict was sorta just "Let the kids do whatever, if they scream, they'll be too scared to travel far enough that we can't hear them" so I sorta kept to the cleared area by the cabins but when I got older I started walking the old logging roads and you find some pretty weird stuff back there. I've found collapsed cabins (presumably from the logging camps), abandoned trucks and cars, disused railway posts, etc etc etc. The railway stations are the creepiest, they are usually destroyed due to stupid teenagers going to them but they still sorta resemble a physical structure and when you're in them the whole building shifts and creaks in it's old age. Pic related is the remains of a station circa 2010 but there's plenty more of them if you where where to look, they aren't usually taller than the trees and they're often high up in the hills and mountains to you don't often see them along the highway or anything
