Was fishing with my dad today and he caught this guy. 48cm walleye.
I almost caught one myself, it kept stealing my minnow. Finally managed to hook it and it snapped the 10lb mono line within 5 seconds. I had to give up after that because it was getting too dark to continue. At least he got a good meal out of it. I have no idea what kind of fish it was, could've been another walleye but I didn't get a chance to see it.
We coated the fillets in flour, salt/pepper, and garlic powder and panfried them in butter. It was pretty good even though we suck at filleting so we had to pick out small bones.
