>>1708469I’d say get something like a Petzl Tikka for $25-30, but replace the band with something that isn’t elastic, perhaps a strip of cotton and Velcro. I assume you don’t have a lift, and you’ll find when crawling under a car that the elastic band isn’t tight enough and the headlamp will fall off your head if you brush it up against the garage floor. It doesn’t sound like a big deal until you’re crawling under the car ten times and fucking with the light trying to get it to stay on your head while holding a 10lb exhaust piece in your hand. Been there done that and it’s fucking infuriating.
