>>2374992Just better in the sense that they're less picky about the heat. I find shade cloth even in already shady areas can still be a big help, it holds moisture in and things thrive. This is a bad shot because it's been mostly picked clean and due for replant, but helps the spinach a lot and this is already a shady spot. But that's just my two cents, I find it's amazing for many things.
Currants are both super tasty and easy to root. I'd at least take cuttings to start fresh, but I love them more than most.
