>>2447621>i’m going on a week long trip to the PNWYou are in luck as that is my home.
>I have a tent, mattress, hammock and sleeping bag.I'm assuming you have a pack as well to put that all in unless you are car camping which is killer as well. You won't need the hammock if you are using a tent and mattress, unless you are just using it to lounge in then go for it. I always take a small inflatable pillow namely the sea to summit one but thats up to you.
>For clothes, i’m bringing some hiking pants, pair of jeans, and a couple of shorts. Thinking a rain jacket, couple of sweaters/sleeved shirts for layers. It hasn't rained out here for weeks I wouldn't worry about a hardshell rain jacket, if you got something water resistant that should suffice or just an emergency poncho if you are really worried. Sounds good otherwise maybe through in some light sun shirts and a hat
>Not sure if i’m missing anything, but if you have any recommendations or advice i would be very grateful for an expert opinion.Bug spray, we had an extremely wet spring so the bugs had plenty of standing water to breed in, I think it was about 4x more mosquitos than normal. We used to not have any ticks out here but slowly more have been coming in so check for that as well. National parks campsites fill up fast so make sure you got those in order because there isn't logging roads you can turn off into like by Mt Hood. Also basically everywhere is in a burn ban so grab some propane if you wanna cook
