Though if you have a boat AZ's larger warm water lakes are actually top class for bass, crappie and sunfish. If you have a smaller boat the high country cold water lakes can have prolific trout fishing (7 stocked species, 4 naturally breeding species in streams/rivers in AZ, 2 native species) but you have to time it right, when they start stocking in spring in the high country it can be insanely windy until about June. The warm water rivers are great for summer nighttime catfishing, many of them run upstream for spawning in summer then head back down for late summer. Btw there's a trout lake near Tucson as well even, but in general SE AZ fishing is lackluster to non-existent compared with central/northern AZ fishing.
