I'm currently a baker who owns my own bakery. I bought it for 115k and should be in a position to sell it for at least 200k by 2021. Being a business owner is cool but it's brutal, plus I'm only 24 and am starting to miss the adventures I had from 18 to 21 (I lived on a hippie commune during that time).
I have the early machinations of a plan in the back of my head to sell the bakery once I can get 200k for it, throw 150k of that into some sort of investment portfolio and use the remaining 50k to outfit some kind of vehicle to be lived in and travel around North America with my dog until that money runs out.
What does /out/ think? What are good vehicles for this sort of thing? What are popular places around the US to visit on trips like this? Hiking with the pup would be a priority.
