Did a bit of harvesting today. I've been holding off watering, trying to stress the hot peppers and get them to cork. Seems like it is working very well. The hot peppers will be dehydrated and ground up for seasoning so their texture won't matter. It seems the purple tomatillos finally turned purple!

I have onions and garlic from earlier in the season. All I need now are some chips and I can make salsa. I've been doing so many other things that I've been neglecting the gardens. I need to water other stuff and weed like mad since I couldn't use mulch this year. Isopods were eating the jalapeno peppers too!! I lost like 8 peppers to the buggers.
