>>2519024I like rare & odd sweet peppers that you cant find normally in a market. I did order some Aji Charaprita from Baker Creek to make into some chili powder for my old man since he is a chef and would appreciate the hell out of that sort of thing. I am most excited about growing sweet bonnets, criola de cocacina, & Pimento Peppers for the first time. I like spicy peppers but I hate the onions culture that is around growing hot peppers.
Does anybody have any advice for someone growing Onions, Carrots, Garlic, & Potatoes for the first time in above ground beds? I bought intermediate onion seeds which is appropriate for my growing zone and have seeds for regular carrots & uzbekastani yellows. I plan on buying potato starters & Garlic starters in a month or two once they become available however will 16ish inches of depth be enough for all four of these crops? I bought a 27 Gallon tub for growing one of these four crops and plan to buy more if they have enough depth.
