It's fine for boiling water for tea or making ramen, but it's minimally too small if you're trying to cook something with larger chunks that requires a lot of stirring. Also, does the lid on yours sit rather loosely? In theory it fits and won't fall off if you place it on the pot, but if I lightly press on one side, the other side pops off.
