I had the most wönderful day in Lane Cove National Park today. It is an urban national park but massive. So you get narrow spots that have suburbs nearby, as well as really wide stretches that are fucking full of mystery and you get far away from any distant traffic noise or anything else. I've been exploring all these different areas each time I go out, today I went way off the tracks and followed a random creek and it was gorgeous. Sandstone caves and mossy rocks and nothing but jungle and kookaburras. Very peaceful and I'll be revisiting some of these spots for proper photos and some field recording.
