I have extensive experience with lumberjacking, both with modern tools and vintage equipment. After the trees are cut we can set the less experienced to work with draw knives, splitting axes, and stacks of wood.
I can also do most of the carpentry involved in building log cabins, although I can't say if I could make a reliable wooden roof, thatch might be easier.
