>$8 reservation fee$20 for a night on a #57 limestone pad. Usually amenities are available, such as
>vault shitter>running potable water: flushable toilets, sinks, once rare but becoming common: showers>dumpstersWhat happens if you stay without paying? Anytime I placed my reservation last minute nobody every checked on me. When I placed my reservation ahead of time the post had my name on it when I arrived.
Only once have I not paid and stayed a single night, but the individual patrolling at 0630 didn't look like he cared whatsoever.
>original campsite plans fell through due to storm>rode an additional 1.5hr towards the campground I found with over 40 spots open>upon arrival found out I had no signal and couldn't place my purchase>stayed anywayI'm road tripping through southern states and I've never been concerned about insects and snakes before. Debating on swapping the bivvy out for a single person tent, but undecided. Staying on a pad of limestone sounds more relaxing than trying to find a dispersed spot where dangers await.
How do I even find dispersed spots or free spots? I wouldn't mind paying, but the $8 fee 16 times for 16 different locations makes me mad.
