I mostly see regular people in public places wearing something like North Face, and I've started seeing a lot of Helly Hansen since local stores started selling their coats and jackets a year ago.
For actual /out/ people, it's mainly Mammut and Marmot since these are the only serious brands that are sold around these parts. Maybe some Lafuma for more budget options. Hell, a lot of pictures people have taken of me look like Mammut ads.
Climbing gear brands are also a bit different from what I see on american sites. Petzl, Salewa, Edelrid, Scarpa, La Sportiva, etc. I have to drive to a different country to see Five Ten shoes in physical stores, and even basic models are more expensive than equivalents from European brands.
