I'm 1000 or so feet up on the side of a mountain. To get to this place you either walk 5 miles, kinda flat cause the trail starts at 1000 feet, or you find a place to park close down below and hike straight up. I say this because weight would be an issue as I'd rather not walk 5 miles.
The red lines are the trail. What do trail makers do when you come across this? I've never seen them use chainsaws unless it's close by. Those old cut logs on the ground appear to have been cut with maybe a logging type saw because I looked at the grain and may have been cut 10 - 20 years ago.. I'm by myself. What do?
