You just need to use the appropriate sized spinner for the specific hole you are using. If a #2 doesn't elicit strikes or follows, I'll size up to a #4. Floating mono, say trilene xl 4lb will help with avoiding the spinner from touching bottom, once you have the feel for it. I've got yozuri hybrid 4lb on right now.
