And the UAZ has better auto-lock differentials which is way better than the niva's manuel lock differentials.
Also the UAZ is higher and the drive shaft is made so the car wont hang on the differentials if it should be deep snow or mud.
The Niva weights about 1200kg and the UAZ is 1500kg so the niva is lighter but still not better at off-roading.
Also the UAZ has better fuel capacity at 40L per fuel tank (it has two fuel tanks).
Also there is better room for luggage and people.
This UAZ has also stronger engine with more HP and torque than a Niva.
I've driven Niva lots of times and its good for what it is and designed for, but the UAZ is better at its job.
