I also do pregnancy testing for dairy cows and bale hay / roll silage a few months a year. I live in a 150yo miners cottage on a 10 year farm lease that costs less than my half of the room I rented in the city with the girlfriend and 3 other housemates 5 years ago
Not my personal blog but I did it by already getting rid of a heap of shit before moving into a small city space. Everything I cared about fit in the boot of a really nice old car I was fixing up which made leaving easy. Driving to the middle of nowhere and staying in caravan parks took a couple thousand dollars in savings. Finding work was easy because I was a functioning alcoholic and gravitated towards local pubs where all the other locals go. Boom, found a stable full time job within two days and a half-collapsed house to live in at the same time. Things went up from there. Ask all you want
