Caught this lovely bass this morning on my memecaster using 12lb fluro with a Texas rigged Berkley power bait pumpkin seed 7" curlt tail worm with a 1/4 oz bullet weight and a 4/0 EWG Gamakatsu hook. Temps cooling ever so slightly here in FL and I have been having great luck with the Berkley power worm. Also caught a smaller one with my Zebbco Roam telescoping rod with a rapala shad rap 05. The zebbco was my entry rod and I keep it in my truck. I get shit from a lot of people but I love it and have caught a ton of fish with it. You can get it off amazon for 40$ and I'd recommend it for any newbies or anyone that wants a portable banger rod.
