>>1139007while i match your theory (work as an attorney downtown in a major city and probably 90 percent of my hobbies are /out/ related) i've always assumed its more to do with how you "played" as a kid. I was lucky to have grown up with tons of woods to romp around in and with a group that was into exploring. I'm pretty much the only person in my office who goes /out/ or travels on a on a regular basis. The other guys in my office all grew up playing team sports and their hobbies are all team sports related. another guy grew up surrounded by music and his hobbies are music related.
