Look up jobs through the Bureau of Land Management, the Forestry Service, the National Parks service, your states Forestry Dept, State and Federal Fish and Wildlife, and your local Parks and Rec if youre in the US. They tend to have a lot of seasonal jobs that require being alone in the wilderness for a period of time.
I had a buddy who did trail maintenance for a very popular local State Park and he loved it. He hiked 12+ miles a day and was alone for the bulk of it, responding to trail incidents and making sure all the trails and bridges were usable.
