Snowdonia is great for wild camping, never been told to move on once. As long as you pitch late and strike early I doubt you’ll have a problem in most national parks.
Was in Dorset a few weeks ago and there were loads of climbers camped out along the coast, for days at a time. I’m not saying do that because it’s kinda shitty but you’re not likely to get caught.
