>>1902350Present it as the ethical choice. The wild goose lives a free, happy life, and then is snuffed out before it even knows what happened to it. Their factory farmed chickens live in cages so cramped that their bones are misshaped, sleep in their own shit, eat awful food, and spend their entire existence in unimaginable misery before having their heads chopped off. Clearly, hunting is the more ethical of the two.
Further, you're not simply profiting off the death of an animal like someone who buys meat from a store. You're doing the killing yourself, not paying someone else to do it, and therefore shouldering all moral responsibility for ending an life in order for you to eat. Again, this is the ethically superior choice to the squeamish little shit who wants to eat tasty meat, but doesn't want to see the animal's suffering beforehand or end its life himself, so he pays someone else to make it suffer and die so he can pretend his hands are clean.
You're not just making the ethical choice, you're making the man's choice. Doing it yourself, being self-sufficient, is empowering in the literal sense, not in the bullshit sense lefties throw around rhetorically. It not only gives you skills needed to survive in hard times, it builds character and makes you more self-reliant and responsible in other ways.
So what shotgun and what ammo do you intend to use?
