Second batch ready to be buried again and then I’ll start a third round.
By the time the third round is up to the top the first will be starting to die back, the second will be in flower, and I can start a fourth batch.
When the first batch has died back I’ll dump it out and collect the taters and start over it all over again. The second batch will be dying off, third in flower, and fourth ready to be buried again.
Some of these are store bought that started to sprout and some are leftover from the last buckets of potatoes.
I’ve done this for years and never had a problem.
