Douk Douks also have an incredibly high locking strength, higher than the strength that you should reasonably apply on a knife this size, especially with the handle which despite being decent isn't comfortable enough to apply much strength on it. It can only close if you purposedly do it.
That's why it still holds up against a Mercator, as it may not lock, it has a superior blade, plus infinite swag.
