This particular one has even both male and female catkins. Neat.
But hey, these are 10cm tall cuttings, aren't they supposed to grow first?
Some even have more flowers than leaves!
Should I just prune the flowers so they grow better, or will they grow good regardless?
And hey, do these mulberries have a sense of reason?
I get that a grafted twig can flower if it had flower buds (a pear did that to me), but these cuttings grew already half of the summer and full autumn as twigs that were brutally cut and stuck in dirt, fighting for their life. They had to prepare for winter themselves, and suddenly flowers next spring?
