>>1330124Basically the frame has a set of holes located along the vertical arms of the frame. The pack has grommets that match up to the locations of the holes. You match the holes together, then connect them with a pin that locks on both ends, thus securing the pack.
So if you wanted, you could take the normal pack off, and attach any kind of pack you wanted to it, as long as it had grommets that matched to the frame. And grommets are cheap and easy to install, so theoretically anything could be attached to the frame. Hell, you could just use zipties if you really wanted.
