It's water resistant, not water proof, less precise than a Quartz, more prone to failure from vibrations and hits, and should therefore be totally unsuited if you believe the internet.
I've had it for 5 years, now. Worked outdoors for 3 months, including lots of wood chopping and chainsaw work, went diving in saltwater with it and forgot to take it off during rock climbing. Apart from a few scratches, it's still fine.
And it looks classy, too.
