>>1739108Ahh I see. Best time for fly fishing I'd imagine would be at night in the spring when they move up shallow, but to be quite honest I've never really fished them in a river. I completely forgot that spawn is earlier because i cant fish them until may, but the same rules i imagine apply for spawn. Last year was a super late year and the ice didn't fully leave until may so it was the first year I hit the spawn since i was a kid, and my luck was shallow water at low light, so my advice still stands i figure.
