We finally had a nice dry few days this week and I was able to harvest the luffa sponges from last season. They look horrid on the outside, but they are dry on the inside and should look good after being cleaned & bleached. I won't be growing anymore because they take up too much space and have a growing season longer than my location's growing season. They are tropical/subtropical, but I was able to grow them on my 3rd try. I'm going to have tons of seeds.
I'm still mulching raised beds. There's so much new soil for this season, though I'm losing 2 places to plant in (finished compost piles moved). Everything else will have deeper soil at least.
