I got to listen to some Kyuss while backpacking in Death Valley over this past spring break. It was pretty fucking awesome.
But, for the most part, I enjoy hiking, backpacking, walking, trailrunning, canoeing, etc. without music, just because I'm a patrician asshole who listens to field recordings and nature is my music.
