>>2348335It's really not easy to convince someone about hiking and camping if they've had a terrible experience or generally think that they dislike the outdoors.
I feel sorry for these people and really think they're missing out some of lifes greatest experiences.
Like of course you're not gonna feel fulfilled if you just drive to a popular location and "hike" from the parking lot to the vista. People do these things and expect wanderlust in return and when they don't immediately get it, they feel extremely let down.
You're just going to have to want to do it I guess, otherwise it's just pointless.
