>>2819760>Yeppoon>Hope there's no snakes I need to worry aboutoh there will be snakes but generally you'd have to be very unlucky. just watch where you're walking, anything you'll come across on the coast will give you a bad month (but not kill you) except for an eastern brown, in which case your chances are 50/50 and that's if you get straight to a hospital.
you'll be fine. I hope you enjoy your trip, it's just getting into winter here so the weather should be tolerable, but that far north will still be hot & snakey I reckon.
I'm fortunate to live right in the edge of a national park but it's full of snakes and lizards and funnel webs (even though I have no luck finding their nests)
