Or you could go the easy route
>mix up 5lbs of Rocket Candy
>let it mix and boil out the water while you drill a bunch of holes in the stump
>once it's done take the (still hot and liquid) mix and dump it into the holes
>let it dry and cool
>light it on fire
The entire process should take about 2-3 hours and the stump should burn for a good while after.
