We used to always hangout there until it became a construction site and all 11 buildings were burnt down.
Before the demo a fire was lit in 2001 than another building was burnt down in 2014.
There were 11 buildings which consisted of 3 floors (with roof access) and 3 wings on each building.
All buildings were connected by tunnels. There was a lady that lived there who used to feed all the cats, there was always fresh cat food in bowls scattered through both the buildings and the tunnels.
It was an amazing place and I spent almost every day there for the entirety of high school and years after until it was demolished. We went to a trade school and were plumbers, we used to make almost $200 a day there with minimal saw-zall work. 10" copper main risers there.
Was an amazing place to go at night with a bunch of friends to get creeped out and drink/smoke.
Have many more pics.
P.s. was POW camp during WWII for German and Japanese soldiers, after that it gets blurry, think it was a school for the mentally ill.
