And we're back to day 4. I nearly killed myself stupidly that afternoon. The track I was following had been washed over by a winter avalanche. I followed the rubble downwards, excpecting to catch the track , but ended up at the botttom of the gulley, with the stream exiting between to 15 walls and comming out as a 20m chute on the other side. I came back up a bit and wlkedu p one of the side and came out next to the waterfall on the other side. I could see the track I wanted to joind 15 m below, but there was 10m too steep to walk, that branched off to a more level way back to safet on the left, to a 10m drop on the right. I tried to move along as carefully as I could, but still lost my footing and started sliding. I managed to dig my knee into a root 5 m lower and caught a tree. I then maged to move back to safety and back down onto the track I think if I'd been lighter I would have kept sliding and got yeeted of the edge. Not a 100% certain death, but a very likely death, and 100% gurantee of a very serious injury. I was a bit shaken after that, and feeling very stupid, so I celebrated with a great camping spot and a bottle of wine that night
