I have seen a few real peacocks, but they were all larger. I thought maybe the body shape changes slightly as they get older. I'm not from FL so I know nothing about these crazy fish.
Anybody who has an aquarium knows about pic related. This one pond by my house has millions of them. Idk what you catch them on tho. They sit real close to shore, maybe I shoud spear them. Problem is I don't eat the fish really. Those Mayans are supposed to be tasty tho.
