Take that thing of a bike to a bike shop before you go anywhere, and have them do a full tune up on it and any repairs that is needed get them done. I would say expect to spend $50-100 to get that thing in better shape. Make sure you have proper tools for the bike, inner tubes, lights, and a bell. A comfortable helmet is advised. Just sayin'
