>>271447I swear by my old genesis cdf, the frame is excellent and is made out of a GOOD material, not gas pipe like surly. I've cycled 100's of miles along the river mersy (like rambling about in the woods) it has enough clearence for chunky tyres and has good geo for touring, commuting and cyclocross is stuff (not agresive enough for racing but I'm guessing that's a plus). If you can get one for the price then I'd highly recommend it. The day one has a nice hub gear system so that's also great and the geometry from a glace on charts seem similar. Both have a shit tonne of braze ons and I think you might want that. It's all good for rambling and dirt paths in my experience. I rode practically everyday on it, soo nice
pic related, my mates build, are you in the uk ?
