>>1193481well I have a Vstrom 650 Adventure with panniers, and it makes lane splitting very difficult when lanes are narrow and traffic is thick, so that's one of the reasons why I have my little street legal crf230l. really low seat height, good ground clearance, and one of the lightest street legal dirt bikes available. I can throw on my bag and take a ride up to the mountains, camp, trail ride, (back in the day smoke weed and relax), etc.
and then I have my wr250r, which I use to mob through the desert and really hit the mountain trails at full force, and I always transport it using my truck, I will never ride it up to the mountains or to the desert like my other bikes.
