Why do you need recipes for cooking over a fire? Pick a meat, pick some veggies, bring some fresh herbs, butter, garlic, onions, salt, pepper, throw that shit on the fire and don't burn it.
Breakfasts:
Oatmeal and some coffee if you're making movements
eggs/bacon/potato hash/grilled cheese if you're feeling fancy
Lunch:
Salted meat + hard cheese
tortilla + peanutbutter/nutella/jam
naan + hummus
GORP or protein bars
Quick shit you don't have to cook so you can keep moving
Sausages + broccoli + carrot
Lamb + zucchini + peppers
Steak + mushrooms + baked potato
Burgers + sweet potato
Pasta + sauce
Beans + rice + avocado in a tortilla
chicken wings + bannock
Or if you're going lightweight, dehydrate your shit at home and rehydrate it in the woods. Chili, stirfry, pasta, burrito filling, whatever.
Bring a billy tin, that opens up a fuck ton of cooking options. Bring a small steel grill and/or cast iron/carbon steel if you can lug the extra weight and you can literally make anything you want. Cook on a rock if you don't wanna carry that shit and want to LARP instead.
Any meal you can make at home, you can make in the woods; you just have to suck it up and carry the weight.
