The cooker works with the same principle as Trangia cookers, enabling it to be used safely anywhere.
And if you somehow run out of cooker fuel, just make a campfire and use the messkit on open flame. it even has that little handy hook on the top, so you can perch it from anywhere.
Sure, it soots a bit on open flame, but it just fucking WORKS.
the flat bottom of the messkit can be put on stoves or even on regular oven cooking plates etc. The whole package takes practically no extra space than a regular messkit.
I have three of these. One in camping use, one in BOB, and a spare one just in case. Love it!
