Frankly I half assed it and only got a few.
I left both totes out on a southern facing deck, but I already had too many tomatoes planted than I could use and didn't tend to these.
I did do basil in Mason jars and got root rot, but still had more basil I could use
I plan on trying again this year. The hydro tomatoes were good, but there was flooding and lots of rain water filled and diluted the tote. Plus I didn't tie up the plants and some sat on the tote cover and got mushy.
Now I've got broccoli, lettuce, basil, and cilantro going as I start seeds for this spring.
